Hello, this e-mail is in reference to R1N 3038-AC61 :
I am a forex trader and I received an e-mail regarding a proposed 10:1 margin instead of 100:1 margin in
FOREX.
I want to let the CFTC to know that 10:1 margin is not going to work and it is not going to protect the
forex trading public.
Many brokers that operates in the US already offers a non-US account that way the trader doesn't have
to abide the CFTC rules.
I myself will be considering to open a UK based broker account if the 10:1 margin for US brokers
passed. That means the US based brokers
will lose a lot of customers if this proposal passed.
