    Metals Hearing
    Limiting Positions-Precious Metals
    To Whom it May concern:
There has been much circumstantial evidence that short positions
in gold and silver has been very
    concentrated and there
    is a
perception that these markets are being manipulated.
    It is in
    the
interest of the CFTC to get in front
    of this issue,
and not wait for some future date
    when hard
evidence will be forthcoming and officials at the
    CFTC will have
    to answer for their
    lack of
    action
    after being given ample
warning. A level playing field is what we all expect from
    our trading
    markets.
    Sincerely,
    Fred
    Ehrman
