funds (ETFs). During the meeting, CFTC staff followed up on SIFMA AMG’s
public comment letter and requested additional information on the operations of
short-term U.S. Treasury ETFs, including the mechanics of the purchase and
redemption of ETF shares when an authorized participant is involved in the
transaction.
