Dear CFTC Comments:
Recent instability in energy commodity prices have stressed individual and
business budgets in the U.S. Many Americans believe that speculation has
been responsible for much of the instability, and there are data to
support this view. The CFTC should approve the Federal Speculative
Position Limits proposal to reduce the untoward effects of speculation.
