Leverage Change
While I understand what the CFTC is trying to achieve by reducing leverage, I strongly disagree
with the proposal. Before opening a forex account with any broker we are advised several times of
the dangers involved in trading currencies. Therefore, for those of us that choose to trade, we do
so fully knowing that it is a risk and are prepared for the consequences.
This change would put all the small traders like myself effectively out of the market and leave the
gains to institutional investors. I strongly urge CFTC not to go ahead with this proposal as it will do
more harm than good. Thankyou.
Regards,
Rohan
