In my experience, the PredictIt experiment is a grand success -- the prediction markets are not gambling or a money-making opportunity, but an important insight into how people evaluate possible outcomes and the daily reactions to news and events are critical to help steer policy. Even though I have not places any investments in 2024, my experience during previous election cycles was that it was an important tool in predicting future outcomes.
