I concur with the “pros” enumerated by PREDICTIT and I share the view that such entities provide societal benefits. Moreover, such entities help create and sustain interest in the electoral process, and conceivably could lead to a more informed, engaged and involved electorate — at both the national and state levels. The $850 limit per wager, and other protection measures, help ensure fairness in the process. Thank you for considering my comment.
