Future political contracts are beneficial to various groups as data points. It is not a game. If a video game or fantasy sport can be considered skill. Then this should be, too. There is skill in evaluating the current landscape vs your peers. The market driven nature of contract markets separates it from typical wagering sites. There you bet against the house. Here you are putting your analysis directly against peer analysis - the house benefits by taking a portion for operating expenses.

Also, the CFTC cannot stop offshore betting on other sites. It should attempt to corral as much of the money in a legislated environment where taxes can be applied as opposed to rogue sites allowing untraceable bitcoin transactions that only benefit shady characters and organizations. Those markets do not have limits or protections in place as PrsdictIt does.
