Vague concerns about threats to democracy or reluctance to regulate are not sufficient grounds for banning legal and economically important contracts. These markets have demonstrated their value in risk management and information discovery. I urge you to provide a thorough cost-benefit analysis and concrete evidence of harm before proceeding with any restrictions.
