The concerns about election prediction markets can be addressed through proper regulation without resorting to an outright ban. Please do the right thing and engage with market participants, academics, and other stakeholders to develop a framework that maintains the benefits of these markets while mitigating potential risks. A ban is not the solution of those who believe in innovation. It is concerning that the CFTC is resorting to outright banning contracts because they are overwhelmed with work. This is not the solution. Do the work to let good companies grow and individuals and businesses benefit from this innovation.
