The global trend is towards more open information markets, not less. Banning election prediction markets in the U.S. would put us at a disadvantage internationally. I urge you to consider how we can lead in this area through smart regulation rather than outright prohibition. I am strongly opposed to this rule and the process by which the CFTC is going to ban markets that have so many benefits for the public.
