Regulated election markets increase transparency in elections. The CFTC should reject this proposal if they care about protecting democracy. The CFTC falsely claims these markets are a threat to democracy but have provided no real reasoning or evidence for this. I know this is just jargon that is meant to appear as though this protects consumers, when in reality, we all know the activity is happening on illegal exchanges.
