As a small business owner, I use election-related contracts to hedge against policy risks. This rule would remove a crucial risk management tool. The CFTC should not proceed with this ban. The CFCT should, instead, engage with the industry to create a regulatory framework than protects consumers and does not ban legitimate activity.
