Ever since the Trump-Biden debate I've been checking PredictIt odds every day because it is the only source trying to quantify a completely unprecedented event. Everyone I know has been checking them as well. If the CFTC thinks this is just gambling and doesn't have any relationship to the economy they should explain why PredictIt odds are on the Bloomberg Terminal. Also this article explains how every major investing firm sees political risk as one of their biggest sources of risk.
