    Dear CFTC recipient,

I am a risk management consultant from Los Angeles and am writing to express my views on the importance of election contracts in the regulated marketplace. In my capacity as a risk mitigation consultant, event contracts are an indispensable instrument that I employ on a daily basis to protect clients from unforeseen circumstances. This aforementioned market would enable me to attract new business and provide my present clientele with higher-quality assistance.
Election even contracts are indeed secure and lawful. As someone who relies on event contracts, they are important because they offer a structured and regulated environment for risk management. In addition to providing market security, regulating these markets permits joint ventures with renowned organizations—like the most recent partnership between Kalshi and SIG—which boosts market confidence and liquidity.

The absence of CFTC interaction with stakeholders worries me. Collaboration is necessary for effective and true regulation, thus I implore the CFTC to interact more actively with stakeholders to comprehend the real-world effects of these rules, or lack thereof.

    Sincerely,
    Mia Long
