Classifying prediction markets as gaming is foolish. They are a useful and very interesting political science tool, and the opportunity to make a fairly small amount of money at them is not very significant in the face of the larger aspects of the markets.
The markets do need to be real-money to have any meaning, but the restrictions under which PredictIt operates, with a low maximum investment size, seem entirely sufficient to prevent problematic gambling behavior.
