I can't believe we're even considering betting on U.S. Elections. What a TERRIBLE idea. The public already feels that elections can be bought on account of the dreadful Citizens United ruling. This would incentivize groups with deep pockets to spend even larger amounts of money in Super PACs to bring about the result they've bet on.
Go bet at a racetrack or a casino. Our elections should be determined by one person getting one vote. And we should all be able to vote, people of color, minorities, and ex-cons.
PLEASE stop this in its tracks now before our elections become even more fraught.
