I'm writing to express my strong support for the approval of KalshiEx Congressional Control Contracts. Political events have policy effects on the lives of Americans, and it is vital to reinforce the accurate sources which inform our news and discourse. In other platforms, political prediction markets show more accurate forecasting than either talking heads or professional pollsters. The people willing to put their own money and reputations on the line to invest in markets on political outcomes deserve a platform. The American public deserves the insight this would provide. The United Kingdom, for example, has a long history of political prediction markets. It's past time the United States takes this forward step towards regulating a transparent information exchange. I've met the KalshiEx team and know them to be disciplined and innovative. I urge the CFTC to approve KalshiEx's proposal.
