To Whom It May Concern:
Being able to place bets on the outcome of elections is not in the best interests of our democracy. Allowing this proposal will reduce voter confidence, and lead to a perception that election outcomes are not solely determined by voters’ choices, but also by those who bet on election results.
Voter confidence in election results is already at an all time low and this action would erode it further.
