Inconceivable! What in the world?!
Are you saying big money doesn't have enough influence in the election process the way laws work now?!
Who in their right mind would think this is a good idea - a positive change to secure elections?
Governance is NOT a GAME!
Governance is NOT an avenue for wealthy to exploit for PERSONAL GAIN!
Governance IS dedicated individuals sworn to serve the public, their needs & safety.
To introduce betting on elections would allow special interests to manipulate results and undermine true democracy, wherein "the people's" votes determine who wins.
How empty can a soul be to move in this direction?
