I vehemently object to election gambling. Allowing that would trivialize voting, which is a sacred action within our democracy; it would make voting a spectator sport, a game. It would prioritize personal gain ahead of the health of the body politic; it would promote special interests over one person, one vote. It is a recipe for corruption. In fact, I am outraged! American democracy, which is under assault from many sides, is not reality television!
