Yeah, I see nothing good coming from allowing people to bet on the outcome of elections.
Seriously, allowing this proposal will undermine the integrity of our elections and our very democracy. Something like this would definitely put personal gain ahead of the public interest, and undermine the principle of one person, one vote – the bedrock of our democracy.
Just the idea that something like this was even thought up shows how greedy and immoral some people are.
Just don't do it. Don't allow people to bet on our elections.
