Prediction Markets are very useful in day to day life and for small businesses. People who cannot afford to have a team of experts predicting who will win some election can just look up who will win with what chance. And make decisions accordingly. Maybe my business would do one thing if politician X has a 70% chance of winning and another thing if she only has a 35% chance of being elected. These markets, once they have enough liquidity, can give one an accurate picture of the future.
I hope Prediction Markets will be legalised.
