As a person who buys lottery tickets and scratch offs and occasionally goes to a horse race I am aware that some people gamble as their main source of income. Saying that it is not appropriate to use our democracy as a means to make money . The reason is that most big time gamblers would definitely try to cheat to make money. This is a danger to our voting rights. Someone could pay people to vote to get the person they have bet on to win. Please protect our democracy.
