I am extremely concerned about this proposal to allow betting on election outcomes. It would be all too easy for a wealthy special interest group to gamble on the outcome of an election and at the same time, pour money into its desired outcome. This would skew the election in favor of making money for the special interest. We must protect our elections from this kind of manipulation!
