I submit this comment in support of legalizing election betting markets. For a number of reasons — but most importantly, to provide an important barometer by which expectations can be measured against by those putting their money where their mouths are — the FEC should facilitate and regulate a far more productive endeavor than the presently legal industry of gambling: a destructive social force with no redeeming social qualities whatsoever.
