Kalshi is both: 1) a useful research tool for data scientists, and 2) a highly accurate predictive market for world events (including political ones).
The harms likely to be incurred from restricting the ability of markets such as Kalshi in the political sphere seem much greater than those that would be incurred were they be allowed to operate.
