After the Supreme Court Citizen's United case, corporations have exercised too much power and control over elections in the United States. This has caused voters to have a serious loss of faith in the election system. Allowing gambling on election results will absolutely lead to even more corruption in our election system, and a loss of faith in the results of our elections. People will just think that the corporations and big interests who are placing bets are buying the results they want. And these people won't be wrong. We need to restore the integrity of our elections in this country, not make incredibly stupid moves that will do the opposite.
