Is this for real. Are you even going to consider linking any kind of gambling to our all ready tattered elections.
As a private citizen I can’t express just how potentially harmful something like this could be. To pass such a useless and probably nefarious betting opportunity. I think it is quite obvious how those who could afford to place huge bets could easily affect the outcomes of an election. This is absolutely ridiculous you would even consider linking betting and our god given democratic right to free and FAIR elections, which allowing betting on them would make them no longer so.
Please do not let this get past even the most casual consideration before relegating it to the trash bin of proposals.
