Thank you for the opportunity to comment on KalshiEX Congressional Control Contracts. I oppose this proposal for the following because it will undermine the integrity of our elections and our democracy:
* Creates strong financial incentives for special interests to manipulate and interfere in our elections.
* Reduces voter confidence, and leads to a perception that election outcomes are not solely determined by voters’ choices, but also by those who bet on election results.
* Puts personal gain ahead of the public interest.
* Undermines the principle of one person, one vote that is the bedrock of our democracy.
