I urge the CFTC to reject the proposal to allow betting on elections. Betting on elections will adversely affect the trust the public has in our elections and our democracy. It would create incentives for the manipulation of our elections. In turn, the public would loose confidence in the integrity of our elections and whether their vote would count. Our country is not a casino! This proposal must be stopped!
