How ridiculous an idea is this? Isn't our election process ripe for corruption enough as it is, with dark money influences, misinformation, etc.? There is absolutely no upside to allowing gambling on the outcome of elections. None at all.
We need to do everything we can to maintain the integrity of elections AND of our democracy; allowing for gambling on outcomes undermines that effort.
I very strongly urge you to reject this proposal. Please do the right thing for voters and our democracy.
