I’m writing to express my concern about the passing of this gambling proposal. I was very shocked that this idea is even being considered! This proposal hurts democracy and the public interest by:
- undermining the integrity of our elections
- betting on election outcomes will create strong financial incentives for special interests to manipulate and interfere in our elections
- undermines the principle of one person, one vote - the bedrock of our democracy
Please reject this proposal.
