As a citizen of the United States, I most strongly oppose interjecting gambling into our election process. I have many objections to doing this but my two main objections are: (1) it will most certainly create strong financial incentives for special interests to manipulate and interfere in our elections, and (2) it will reduce voter confidence, and lead to a perception that election outcomes are not solely determined by voters’ choices, but also by those who bet on election results.
