Allowing betting on elections is a terrible idea. Betting will allow special interests to manipulate the odds, influencing votes and creating the impression that one's vote doesn't really count. E.g., why bother to vote if the odds are against my preferred candidate.
Please reject the horrible, anti-democratic idea.
