Gambling is not healthy behavior in general, but it would be a real travesty to allow gambling on elections. Already people have lost confidence in elections. Allowing gambling on elections will reduce confidence even more and move us closer to an authoritarian fascist state.
I would not want to live in the US anymore should election gambling become a thing.
