I urge you to not allow election-related gambling. This is yet another means of diminishing the importance of elections and the seriousness of selecting candidates and issues that promote the well being of our communities and country. Gambling invites a sense of 'gaming' and the desire to 'win' and make financial gains -- the farthest thing we should associated with the important role that elections have in maintaining a strong democracy.
Please say a loud 'NO" to this proposal.
