Allowing betting on elections is such a preposterous idea that I can hardly believe it. We already have so much dark money influencing campaigns and elections that it's dangerous. Allowing betting would just open up a whole new avenue of ways to profit off election results and incentivize the buying of elections and attempts to manipulate outcomes. It's a terrifying Pandora's box that should never be opened. Thank you.
