I believe it would be very detrimental to the process of elections for the leadership of our country. There is already way too much “dark” money and corporate influence in our political processes. To make wagers on elections would be an absolute travesty of our democratic process, making a mockery of the system. We must not allow this to happen, as there is already so much doubt in the minds of many voters regarding election results and governance.
