Allowing this proposal undermines the principle of one person, one vote – the bedrock of our democracy. Gambling on elections would allow entities of great wealth to control elections by pouring money into the campaigns of candidates they want to win and then betting on those candidates' winning. This kind of influence totally shuts out millions of voters like me who do not have the financial resources to influence elections but who rely on the principle that our votes actually count. Please do NOT allow this proposal to pass. Thank you.
