I strongly urge the CFTC to oppose any gambling related to our elections. Allowing betting on election outcomes will create strong financial incentives for special interests to manipulate and interfere in our elections. Imagine a situation in which a pwerful and financially-backed entity wagers that a specific party will win a majority of seats in Congress. How far might that entity go to win the bet? This is a horrible idea and should be voted down. Thank you.
