This proposal is ridiculous and completely undermines our democratic process. The only reason for such an idea is to just make money. It provides no real benefit to our election systems and would only shake confidence in the integrity of the whole process. As if special interests and dark money are not rampant enough in our politics system, this would give literal financial benefit for the possible manipulation of our politics. Do not allow this asinine idea to actually go into effect. It serves no one but the few.
