I believe having a market on control of congress is incredibly valuable in providing transparency and insights, prediction markets have been proven to be more accurate than polling and this allows voters to make more informed decisions with regards to government and democracy.
Additionally, control of congress has huge economic and personal impact on people's everyday lives, in many cases it would be useful to directly get involved with the market to hedge potential outcomes.
I strongly believe it would best to allow these markets to run in the USA with CFTC and other US governmental oversight than letting it exist in it's current form with offshore and crypto markets that are not governable and questionably compliant when it comes to transparency.
