Our US elections are the foundation of our democracy. They are sacrosanct. The idea that the Commodity Futures Trading Commission would allow "betting" on the outcome of an election is abhorrent and could create perverse incentives for financial players to try to influence the outcome. It puts personal gain ahead of our public interest. Our votes are not commodities. DO NOT ALLOW ELECTION GAMBLING.
