I strongly support Kalshi’s contracts. They would promote election integrity by fighting disinformation and providing a decentralized, market-based prediction of election outcomes that would compete with talking heads and flawed polls. They would also be useful tools for hedging political risk, which affects every family and company in America. Election trading is common offshore and in other countries–it should be safely regulated in the United States rather than banned. Elections are not games; they are hugely impactful economic events. Please follow the law!
