The idea of allowing wagering on the results of public elections has to be one of the most poorly thought out proposals in the history of our nation. There is far too much nonsense being spread around about the integrity of our election process as it is, without introducing situations where individuals or groups could illegitimately influence the results of our elections for their own profit. Pleas bury this insane idea, may it never see the light of day again.
