I have just become aware of some discussion that would allow trading/betting to occur on
political elections. This is absurd as betting on who wins in an open forum such as yours does not belong in a democracy. If friends/neighbors etc. want to bet, have at it. But never should that occur in a public forum. Don't traders have enough to do to make the market work without
having elections in the mix? I have to shake my head in disgust. Definitely this should not be considered let alone allowed to happen.
