I strongly support Kalshi's request to add election markets to their current portfolio. I have been an active trader and close observer of the Iowa Election Market for 23 years, and have found it an invaluable source of political information. I also trade in Kalshi's current markets, and can attest that their trading platform has features that make it considerably easier to use. It is also a far more active market than IEM, which makes its prices a more accurate gauge of public sentiment. Allowing Kalshi to add election markets would would provide a valuable indicator of the public's political expectations and would be a great service to anyone interested in that topic.
