Elections are not horse races; the outcome is usually far more important than that.
Not to mention that allowing betting on election outcomes will encourage more people to try to illegally interfere.
A few guys swapping lies over beer, and placing personal bets, is one thing - and not subject to government regulation. Actual bookmaking? Bad idea. Please do not allow betting on elections.
