Allowing betting on elections in unamerican. The ability to vote and select our representatives is one of the sacred privileges of living in a democracy. This should not be cheapened by allowing gambling on the outcome. In addition, once someone can bet on something there are always those who will find a way to cheat or rig the system. Given the events of the last few years, our democracy is already fragile enough. Do not turn it into a game. Please reject any proposal to allow betting on the outcome of elections.
